The Smokefree Podcast
This free podcast is designed to supplement the Smokefree England guide sent by the Government in the early part of 2007 with additional facts, advice and findings from companies that have already gone 'smoke free'.
It is aimed at SME business leaders and/or HR professionals.

National Manager, BT Scotland
Brendan oversees BT’s Group-wide activities in Scotland and develops BT’s strategic programmes with government, enterprise agencies, business and community organisations. Brendan is Chair of the Edinburgh Business Assembly and the International Teledemocracy Centre.
Group Station Manager, London Underground
Jason is responsible for the day-to-day running of both Waterloo and Westminster Tube stations and is accountable for all the staff and public at both locations. He has to deal with any and every situation that arises as a result of non-compliance with the smoking ban that was imposed over two decades ago on London's Underground.

Steve is a well-known commentator on UK and international labour law and was editor of IDS Brief, the UK’s highest circulation specialist employment law journal, for over 13 years. He has worked with a range of public and private sector organisations on the implementation of labour rights and the application of employment law.

Smokefreeengland.co.uk is the Government's official website about the smoke free legislation and contains information as to why the act has been introduced and how people's everyday life will be affected by the ban. This website also contains an online version (in PDF format) of the Guide to the New Smokefree Law.
The NHS gosmokefree.co.uk website contains a wealth of information for individuals looking to give up smoking, including benefits and advice about successful approaches.
Smokefreesigns.co.uk sell all of the signage required by the new act, and can advise on placements and applications.
The Office of Public Sector Information's (OPSI) website contains both the Health Act 2006 (in which the smokefree legislation is contained) and the Smoke-free (Signs) Regulations 2007 (which details the specific signage requirements).
